S. No. OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. Raw material Procurement All incoming raw material to be reviewed for supporting Manufacturer’s Test Certificate. Material not supported by Rejected lots, if any , to be returned to vendor.
2. Cropping First piece of every sheet to be checked by supervisor and subsequently every 50th piece to be checked by operator. Rejected material, if any, to be rectified/converted in to smaller members of scrapped.
3. Punching First piece of every punched sheet to be checked by supervisor. To ensure the correctness as per drawing. Bulk Punching to be carried out only after supervisor’s approval.
4. Side Punching Holes to be perpendicular to surface, punch and die immediately replaced in case burring is observed. Checked by supervisor.
5. Edge Security and Hole to Hole Distance First piece of every member to be checked by supervisor to ensure accuracy of edge security and hole to hole distance. Bending at the angle of 90 degree.
6. Welding First piece of every member checked by supervisor to its dimensions, accuracy, as per drawing and welded spot after approval bulk production starts.
7. Heel Grinding After grinding the rough surface or to remove the carbon from welded surface to make the smooth one each piece checked by foreman and randomly inspected by supervisor.
8. Touching/Finishing Finishing is observed by foremen. If found finishing is not good rejected the piece. Also inspected by supervisor.
9. Rectification of rejected members Members not rectified to be scrapped
10. Powder Coating Before power coating the material, it goes pre coating treatment such as cleaning, degreasing, degusting, using three in one chemical.
